Mother Nature made me a liar

I finally moaned last week about missing the birds and how putting out the suet didn’t attract any feathery folk. It hung out there for weeks and no one wants anything hung out there for weeks, getting ignored.

Then, I hit “publish” on the old blog post and BLAM!

Meanwhile, down below on the ground appeared the Varied Thrush.

So thank you, Mother Nature, for making me a whiny liar last week.

And thank you, Mother Nature, for letting me still sit on my winter ass and take pictures of birds from my warm, dry house. Happythankyoumoreplease.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Here’s wishing a happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there (Hi, Mother!)!

I had a few friends visit today on this sunny, glorious Mother’s Day we’re having here. See?
