Plays by Wendy Wallace

I’m always thrilled but certainly not addicted in any form or fashion, no sir to see my words come to life on stage and participate in a collaboration with talented directors and actors (and now choreograher!).

Here are recent production news:

• (Winter ’14!) “Music Box,” book by Wendy Wallace, music/lyrics by Paul Lewis, a charming glimpse into the life of a music box’s inhabitants, performed at Portland’s Fertile Ground 4×4=8 Musicals in January 2014. Here’s a review with a photo of Music Box, and here’s another review!

• “Gingerbread,” a moment of heart connection complicated by life, performed at Island Theatre 10 Minute Play Festival at Bainbridge Island Performing Arts in August 2013.

• “I See France,” a comedic view of women’s lingerie debating their place and value in the world, winner, Best Adult Play award at Island Theatre 10 Minute Play Festival at Bainbridge Island Performing Arts in August 2012.

• “Meat,” a short one act play about a conniving door-to-door meat salesman produced and directed by Dinah Manoff at Bainbridge Performing Arts in 2011’s Evening of New Works.
