It’s August 2012. That means you’re all tuned in and watching women’s volleyball in slow motion, swimming trunks, and pole vaulting ‘nuf said from London, right?
Well, this recap will be brief because I have a dirty mind confession to make.
I love the Olympics. I mean, I love the idea of the Olympics. Athletics from around the world gathering to compete and sweat together. I even watched part of the opening cermony which I would like someone to explain to me.
But even though I think about it, and I read those Facebook posts y’all are writing about you actually watching the Olympics, I can’t seem to bring myself to watch Bob Costa 2.0 summer sporting events.
I mean to. I sit down, I turn them on, and then. . . next thing I know I’m in another room of the house flossing my teeth.
But you’ll be relieved to know I haven’t totally wasted my time. This summer, rather than watching all that competition, I’ve gone through the first two seasons of….

HBO’s Hung.
I love this show. It’s funny, sexy, clever, sweet…all the things I wish I were my writing were.
Now I have to wait until September for season three on DVD.
*sigh* Patient, another thing I am not.
What channel were the Olympics on?
Did I miss all the events with underwater cameras? What Olympic events are you watching?

I taped and am watching all the Equestrian sports. Of course they’re not broadcast on the Networks or at reasonable times. We’re sandwiched in between badminton and archery.
Oh, the horses! That makes sense. There’s Olympic badminton??? Perhaps I should check the schedule after all…!
Wendy´s last [type] ..London 2012 Summer Olympics, A Recap
I was watching the Olympics, but after reading your summary I’ve decided I need to floss more too. Sorry, Olympics.
Right?! The Olympics are OLD but our teeth…well, they don’t have an eternal flame!
