I’m a little slow on the uptake, I guess because a) I didn’t recognize this as Obama and b) I also pronounced it correctly and didn’t get the association to the motto. How about Yes! Free bran! It would be a health food ice cream.

But for Obama, a self-described mutt, I’m thinking a vanilla and chocolate swirl with bits of blueberries to represent his supporters.

We’re just so happy to see that you haven’t lost all of your Texas upbringing!! Regardless of whom your fave candidate was, at least you know the important stuff, — like how to pronounce correctly the pecan! We just had this very discussion at lunch with our friendly Texas transplants last week. In fact, we had to do some educating, also.

Brooke, we’ll see if you get booed, but I’m not disagreeing with you. Someone getting SO much hype is never going to actually live up to that. BO (ha!) hasn’t been anywhere close to radical that I can see. And thanks for the enunciation. “puh CON”, why couldn’t I spell that?? That’s what I meant!
