This is for all you Puget Sound people who got soaked this past week. It’s not for me. It’s for you. Why? Because while you guys were getting as much rainfall within 48 hours as fell in all of October, I was in sunny, warm San Diego, California.
Oh, yea, baby. Eating tortillas, drinking margaritas, wearing shorts, sunglasses, and sunscreen (remember that stuff? you probably have a bottle from 2003).
Finally, I timed a vacation just right.

And I can – we’ve been having perfect warm, sunny weather for this time of year and I didn’t even have to go anywhere!
It’s having all the fall wetness here that makes me really appreciate those warm sunshine times, here or elsewhere.
And we did get a little wet on our trip—-when Shamu splashed us. Oh, yeah…..

Heck, it might be 28 degrees here, but at least it’s NOT RAINING.
