I get asked all the time (okay, never) how I managed to win TWO contests online in one week, here and here.

The answer is simple. Here’s what I did. I’m serious! No giggling back there.

Step 1. Be really brilliant.

Step 2. Rent and watch (the WHOLE thing, no ff’ing) a Louise Hay dvd, Receiving Prosperity (circa 1980, judging from the shoulder pads). Sounds easy, but you’ll probably need at least one big glass of wine to do this. Did I mention the shoulder pads? And the LARGE, square-ish eye glasses worn by audience members?

Hey, no giggling! I am trying to help you people!

Step 3. Start new daily affirmation: “I AM OPEN AND RECEPTIVE TO RECEIVING ALL GOOD.” (Yeah, kinda redundant; I didn’t write it.)

What? Was that a snicker?

Step 4. Enter contests.

Step 5. Win!

Easy-peasy. And what did I win, you ask?

Well, not $1000 like her. But that “in your face” button to your right is cool, yes? (um, click OVER from the reader….yes, there.)

And I’m officially known across the interwebs as the “white trashiest” according to the expert, so there’s that (that’s just the kind of thing you sent me to school for, right, Mother?). And I’m gonna get a copy of her book, too!

Upon further reflection, you at home may want to revise Step 4 to “Enter money contests.”

Yes, that might work slightly better.
