Project Runway notes, or Tim in da hood
This week from Project Runway (spoilers included!):
My ears bled last night when Tim Gunn said “Holla!” Did yours? I think he thought he was ordering a sandwich, bless his heart.
Suede, Mr. blue mohawk man, Wendy thinks that Suede should either SHUT UP or learn about first person pronouns. Wendy does not like his running commentary in third person; it makes Wendy crazy and Wendy might jump off a ledge one Wednesday night.
HOWEVER, did you notice that Suede said “my” last nite? Yup. Wendy knew he was faking.
[Even writing this way for a few sentences makes Wendy unhappy.]
Leanne gets a gold star this week for listening to Tim and making what Wendy I thought should have been the winning outfit. Are ya with me on this?
I mean, Kenley’s had more of the artsy-fartsy thing going on, but hello, does any woman want a dress that purposely makes her butt bubble out like the turkey in the Macy’s parade? Did anyone like this dress?
Then we have Emily, the loser. And what’s sad about her loss is her utter lack of awareness at the yuckiness of the dress she made. Nina called it: Carmen Miranda, Emily, Carmen Miranda.
Only worse. And without fruit for snacking.
Or did you guys like that dress and now I’ve insulted you? Did you think Emily should have gone home?

Elizabeth thinks Emily should’ve followed Wendy’s advice from last week, and listened when Tim Gunn more or less said, Ewwww. Elizabeth thinks it may be a hint to viewers. Each time Tim says, Ewwww and the designer says, “I know better, the look of plastic fruit on a dress is tres chic,” that designer will soon be saying Auf Wiedersehen. (Yes, Elizabeth had to look up the spelling because Elizabeth had no idea.)

I don’t watch Project Runway, but I feel all caught up now!

Marnie doesn’t watch the show but as Marnie is a huge fan of Carmen Miranda, Marnie is dying to see that dress.

I hated Emily’s dress. That insane ruffle was just so wrong. And I agree with your about Suede. Laura finds Suede really annoying, Laura hopes he gets kicked off soon, so Laura can go back to relaxing during Project Runway.
As far as Kinley’s dress, I hated the pouf, if that had ben removed, the dress, while a bit 80s nighttime soap queen bitch, would have worked much better.
I loved the skirt and tank outift, it was awesome.
One issue my friend and I had with the show was how much they bashed that next to last place dress. I mean, I would have worn that. Does that make me matronly as well?

I am with you about Leanne having the best outfit. I love kinley, but her dress more than sucked and they kissed her ass for it! Sometimes I don’t know what those judges are thinking!
