Fresh Strawberry Pie — me-oh-my, I love pie
Remember those strawberries? I picked a few more yesterday on the island and then made this:
I got the main idea from this blog, and then decided to use a package of cream cheese we had (which always seems like a good idea at the store and then goes bad in the fridge before we even open it) as a bottom layer. Add a little powdered sugar and vanilla to the cream cheese; make a glaze to mix into the strawberries, dump into pie; chill (the pie) and you’re done.
And, in case you’re wondering, it’s GOOD for breakfast.
And, NO, I didn’t make that graham cracker crust. I could have, of course,…..but it’s summer here, for Pete’s sake, who’s wasting time like that?
So, now I got you drooling. I’ll be back tomorrow, and maybe I’ll get a grin.
Just don’t laugh with pie in your mouth. So wasteful.

Yum!! Great photo, too! Hope you saved some berries in the freezer for months later to create another strawberry-type delish pie when strawberries are out of season.
