is it hot enough for you? take my weather survey!

We’re having potentially record-breaking weather today and tomorrow in this region of the country. Unlike some sun-worshippers I know, upper 80’s is just toooo hot for me now.
Frankly, I didn’t move to the Seattle area for the hot sun. Truly.
So I want to know your opinions! What do you think? Too hot or just right?

I can’t stand any weather over 80 or under 50. I need to move.

Hi again — I’m adding you to my reader. Good stuff!
BTW, I was born and raised in Ketchikan, AK (I saw in your bio that you lived in Juneau).

Love the options Wendy. I am totally completely LOVING this weather.

Astacia, I’m with you!! Hopefully, we won’t have lots of 80+ this summer.
Hi Stacy, welcome! Anywhere is warmer and drier than Ketchikan, eh?!
Based on your posts, I figured you were pretty happy, daring one!

Guess Hawaii’s out! Low 80’s is my fave, fortunately. If only that would be the highest temp for the summer! At least a/c helps the situation.

I love, Love, LOVE this weather! Any hotter and I start melting. But Goodbye clouds, Hello sun! I’m trying to teach my daughter to say her colors, and I was getting tired of using “the sky” to help her find something gray.

I say WTF???
This weather, albeit gorgeous, can suck it. There is no where to escape the heat. We have no ac, the office has no ac and the water is too freaking cold!

Ugh. It’s official–record broken. Do I hear 87, 88, 89, 90….SOLD! I mean SCALD!

I’m in Northern CA…we’re in the triple digits. Sucks!!!
BUT, we are considering a move to Seattle in the next couple of years (my brother recently moved there), and I’m really considering Bainbridge. I might need to pick your brain a bit!

I’m built for the Northwest, and yet not for the heat. I am a dripping, puddling, sweaty-sticky mess.
And I am at work.
Sigh.

80 isn’t hot, it’s just about perfect. Hot is 102 degrees with 90% humidity. That’s hot.
Big ole baby.

Anything over 75 is an assault! I left the melting asphalt of the Atlantic Seaboard to get back to my cool roots in the northwest. Given a choice between a rainy 40 and a muggy 80, I’ll always take the r/40.

As a fellow NW gal, I say it is HOT HOT HOT!! Can’t function or think, especially at night.

I am all about the sunshine, but being born and bred here - my maximum heat likeability taps out at 75. Anything over 75 and I’m a wee bit crabby. Anything under 55 this time of year does the exact same thing, so I’m screwed!

80 is the temperature in heaven, in my opinion. I’ll take anything from 70 to 90 pretty happily. Below 50 is frigid and makes me want to curl up and hibernate.

[…] I just wanted a fruity, white or green tea for iced tea (I AM from Texas, after all, and it WAS hot here). […]
