If you’re a mouse, our yard could provide you sanctuary or a death knell, depending on who’s around.
Dog just figured out we have a dual purpose wood pile/mouse house.

Walnut brain to tail: speed up. Mouse nearby.
Man, it’s dark.
I never saw if she caught anyone but her tail sure was busy.

Silly puppy! The one outdoor/indoor cat we have has discovered my hay stack, covered with a tarp. I found his little nest in there while pulling down some bales….and several little headless mouse corpses. Mmmm….yummy!

ewwww, mouse corpses! i hope Becca would just eat them whole and save me the trauma!
