Perfervid is from Latin per-, “through, thoroughly” + fervidus, “boiling,” from fervere, “to boil.”

If you have a kid, you have this kind of demand every. day.

Even the dog gets in on it, when she sees a squirrel or *gasp* jogger outside.

Mmmmmm. Trottrottrot. Mmmmmoaaaaaan. Trottrottrot.

This would be the dog. The Kid is much more annoying.

The root of this word seems appropriate, too.
