What are half birthdays? Celebrating that she&#039;s turning 4.5? We don&#039;t really do that where I live (in The Netherlands.. or we do and I am  in for a surprise too, once they go to preschool :)</description>

		<description>I don&#039;t like half birthdays either.  But OH the pressure!  Imagine if she got ZERO at her half birthday while all the other kids had something!  There&#039;d be all that therapy later.

So far, we can still make our own treats.  Maybe next year that will change.</description>

I can&#039;t say I&#039;m much on adding yet another occassion where I am required to plan a party for a class.  In fact, I&#039;m kind of glad the days of taking cupcakes in for real birthdays is past for me.</description>
