I’m not much of a “rules” person, anyway. I think we all work to make our blogs fit our needs and lives, not necessarily the other way around.

1)I post whenever I feel like it. Sometimes MORE than once a day. It doesn’t seem to be hurting my traffic.

2) It is my blog. I’ll post about whatever I want.

3) I surveyed my readers on this. They hate the “read more”, you can’t read that stuff at work on bloglines.

4) If I had something of value to talk about I would do this as a job.

5) I never learned to photoshop. Craps.

It’s weird how sometimes it seems like dozens of posts are longing to be published (and I try to pace them out) and other times, nadda.

Good points. All good points. I’ll think on them.

After the failure of my first blog, I’ve learned that quality counts for more than quantity. That being said, I’m damned if I’m going to let anybody but me decide what quality is for me.

A good blog, in my opinion, is one you’d like other people to read. But you’re no less happy with what you’ve written — or with the time you’ve taken to write — if you happen to be your only reader.
