Let the dog in!

My farming friend, Jenn, hit me with this meme and since I’ve been so grumpy, I thought this would be the perfect time to bore you some mo’ possibly cheer Me up, to talk about me.

Enough about me. Let’s talk about me! In a random way.

1. My car is ten years old this month. I normally would be getting another one about now, but because I live on this island where more and more rich people are moving in, I want to drive it around until the wheel wells rust out and the brakes creak like horny hippos. Just to prove a point. Don’t ask me what that point is exactly.

2. I watch As the World Turns. I don’t really like it, but I can’t seem to stop myself. It’s like putting the dirty sock back on the foot that matches its stretched-out shape.

3. When I use my electric toothbrush, I don’t follow the rules for dental quadrant brushing. I am all over the place.

4. By Chinese astrology standards, I am a Fire Horse. Which, turns out, is not all that good.

5. I like baking, but I’m skeerd of yeast. What is it doing, all bubbly and crap?

6. I’m a middle child married to a middle child. That means either great mutual understanding or big trouble. Or both.

7. I feel more and more anxious about travel as I get older — planes, cars, ferries (never should have watched that Grey’s Anatomy episode). In five years, I’ll need medication just to walk to the bathroom.
