Candles recalled due to burning!
These cute candles just got recalled according to the Consumer Products Safety Commission.
Turns out, the birch wood decorating the wax might catch on fire.
Wood catching on fire??
Who could have ever guessed that as a possible outcome?
This design brought to you by the team that created the scooters with blow-up wheels that, eh-hmmm, blow up if overinflated.
Okay, not really, but duh.
How do we all survive each day in such a hazardous environment?

How dare they make candles that might burn! Morons!
Some product warnings just flummox me, because you just know if there’s a warning, some idiot already tried it once.

Yes, DD, and beware of MATCHES, too. It’s a wonder those don’t come in a giant boxes to have room for all the warnings.
Jenn, probably an idiot tried it OR a lawyer read some tort case where they got off easy by having a stupid warning for stupid people and voila! Warning, water is wet…..fire is hot….sharp stick can poke your eye.

LOL! I was going to mention matches!
This may be my first visit, but it won’t be my last!

LOL! That totally reminds me of the results of a research done in my country, presented yesterday. Apparently mini candy bars are less fattening than bigger candy bars. I am still in shock.

Oh, and I just noticed your Amazon wish list on the right. We just got the same Nikon camera a few weeks ago! It’s really an awesome camera. When you get it. you will LOVE it!

You know that little blogrush thingie —–> over there? I’ve been wondering if it’s worth it’s space when I clicked on it to come here. Now I’m trying not to wake my husband up from laffin so hard! I think I’ll go take my sleeping pill now. But wait - it might make me drowsy.

One of my favorite Steven Wright jokes:
“I remember the day the candle shop burned. We all just stood around and sang ‘Happy Birthday’.”

Honestly, how could the manufacturers be expected to forsee that outcome? It’s not like they can see the future.

[...] I’m really not going to become a Products Recall blog even though I wrote about those burning candles, but I felt that the American public (or the world, for that matter–hi Calgary!) should be made aware of this debacle. [...]
