Former Firefly hottie/my heartthrob (and a few other mommies who know who they are!), Nathan Fillion is now on Desperate Housewives. I was excited about it. Then I saw it. They took this guy:

All I can hope is one day he’ll rip out the pocket protector, tear off the plaid shirt, and blast someone evil’s brains out while dashing up the ramp into a spaceship. Oh, yes, Mal. Please.
I even went to his myspace page (who knew!) and followed the link to the Firefly (Serenity) character test, which said I was most like the young, nervous, cowardly doctor.
I’m not too happy about that since they never kissed. Secretly, they wanted to, right? Sure, on the surface there was oogling and pining of the hooker, but that’s to be expected. That’s the obvious play.
