this isn’t too much bed for Kid, right?

I’ve been window shopping online to move Kid out of the toddler bed and into a REAL bed. Yeah, we’re a little slow in this department….

I was thinking something simple, small, and with the least surface area for her to vandalize, but I changed my mind when I saw this!

Doesn’t that kid look happy? There is a bed in there somewhere.

Since her room is small with a low ceiling, we’d probably have to trim off the peaks and maybe some of the slide. But that would just make the ride more fun.

  • It’s cute, but just think, in three years you’ll be bed shopping AGAIN because The Kid has outgrown such cuteness.

We opted for a really nice daybed, something Unruly LOVES and I know will last her for many years.

  • we too have the daybed for Grace which she loves. The best part is the trundle. Now, Gma sleeps there when she visits but hoping in the future it will be where a friend sleeps for sleepovers. we leave the trundle on the ground for Gma but it also has the option to pop up and make a Queen bed. And the small footprint….it really is perfect.

  • Okay, we didn’t really get this. We found a regular twin bed that will work with trundle underneath, but will wait on the trundle part. (”sleepovers are for 6 year olds!” we said) The only question was pop-up or stays low version of trundle, when we cross that bridge.

It’s true, Jenn, that she will want to change things around. She already mentioned her desire to change from Pooh room decor to Spongebob (ugh!)…..

  • I would like that bed!

  • You know, if I could get my daughter to trade all of her other toys for that, I’d do it.

  • I wonder if Chuck would mind if I changed out our bedroom? I think that looks like more fun than the bed I have.

  • Where’s the bed part of that fairyland monstrosity?

My first real bed was a mattress and a box-spring on the floor. And I still fell out of it.

  • Cara, it does look kind of fun. At least for awhile.

Diesel, why didn’t I think of that bargain! She might’ve gone for it.

Chuck won’t mind. He’s not here right now….

Scott, on this one, you could have rolled out, and rolled and rolled….

  • To heck with the kid. I want that bed! Dang.

  • I’m so jealous! What an awesome bed!

  • omg god, I can totally wait for my child to want to change her room to spongebob or any other character. I just painted the darn thing!
