Let the dog in!

noun:
1. A denunciation.
2. A threat of punishment.

This will probably amuse only those fortunate enough to personally witness the topic, but I was tickled to see this from the Word of the Day people.

Why? Because DH has created “the Combination” here, a tool with which to tickle torture small children. “Do you need a combiNATION!?!” he’d shout as he began his chase. Small-sized giggles would float through the air. It worked so well he is now advised to hold them off his lap to avoid the waterfall of pee that will inevitably spring forth from those subjected to the Combination.

Now, I see (A-HA!!) a “commination” is really what he has been doing all along!

Our Combination commination involves varying segments, including but not limited to, Armpit Tickle, Lawnmover (circular hand rubbings on the belly), Reverse Lawnmover (same on someone’s back), Thigh Squeeze, Foot Tickle, Nose Squeeze (my Least favorite), and Indian Head Rub (hey, never said it was the P.C. version).

It’s REAL fun when the Kid starts doing it back. And she does not follow the No Nose Pinching rule I have.

And she is not gentle.

She goes for the bruise.

(How pathetic is this: If you pinch my nose one more time, you are getting a time-out, young lady!!)
