A quiz! A quiz!
You have been sitting in the living room with your spouse/significant other for the evening, Mr. and Mrs. Couch Potato. Now, it’s late, the Painted Veilkung fu movie ended and you notice your spouse/s.o. is sound asleep. What do you do?
a. Whack him on the head with Sunset Magazine (the double edition) and tell him to go to bed?
b. Lightly smear leftover fish skin from dinner on his face so the dog will lick him ’til daylight?
c. Record his snoring for your blog?
d. Turn out the lights and leave him there?
e. None of the above (there are other options?).

I like B!
Most evenings, my wife goes to sleep watching television in bed. Usually my bed time ritual includes taking out the dogs, removing her glasses, turning off the TV and kissing her goodnight.
One night, when our daughter was sick, she took my place next to my wife in bed. I went to sleep in our daughters room and about 11:30 pm I heard my wife yell from the other room, “You didn’t take off my glasses, turn off the TV and where is my goodnight kiss!”
I guess what I took for just “things I did before bed” had become an important to my wife.

I’M usually the one who falls asleep on the couch in the evening. Hubby usually shakes me and tells me to quit snoring, wake the hell up and go to bed.
When I was younger and happened to fall asleep on the couch, my mom/sister would do mean things to me, like squirt shaving cream on my glasses, face and arms and draw on me with permanent markers. They thought they were SUCH a riot! Ha.
But B sounds pretty darn funny, as long as it’s not being done to me!

Clearly the answer is “B,” unless it’s my wife, then it’s clearly “D” because she wouldn’t wake up anyway and any other choice would lead to a one-way ticket to the nearest hotel.

Oh, Jeff, that is so sweet! Wait, something’s in my throat…. Ack, ack, ack…. No, really, very nice.
Jenn, I had not even thought of other fun like art projects with markers! Cool!
Jim, you are missin’ out, man.
DD, I am jealous of your wife being a sound sleeper! That skill went out with the Kid coming out, somehow.
