SEATTLE - The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat watch for the Seattle-Tacoma-Everett area through Wednesday.
Highs in the 90s will be 15 to 20 degrees above normal, which could cause heat illnesses.
Forecasters advise vulnerable people to avoid strenuous outdoor activities during the heat of the day, use air conditioning or fans and drink plenty of water.
Time to pull out the eggs and try that sidewalk trick (which never worked in Texas). Or maybe I’ll just get more hard cider and refill the wading pool with clean water so I can put my dirty feet in.
