Paris’ Jail Life Canceled by “Medical Condition”
Paris is out. It was three days, officially, in jail, and now she goes under mansion house arrest. This story interests me for several reasons:
1. I did not know that being a spoiled rich immature girl was a “medical condition.”
2. I did not know that you can pay to be in a private jail in California, $80/d, rather than go to county like the peasants. I think this option may be a good one for certain, defenseless convicts, and they get their laptops. Paris went to county, but noted that she could have paid for the private jail. Duh.
3. She got jail time for driving with a suspended license during probation from a DUI which seemed an extreme sentence to me for a first time offender.
4. This is not about drinking or not drinking, kids; this is about hiring a driver for the night and pretending to be responsible! That’s all. It seems so easy. Since there is clearly no money issue (me, personally, I don’t want to pay for a cab….but then again, I drink at home), we can only assume it must be a BRAIN CELL issue. Let’s hope this shocked some sense into her and others. One night at lockup for a friend of mine freaked her out big time.
I can’t wait to hear about the book deal — My Life Behind Bars, Blackberry Here and Gone: withdrawal from technology, or Life in a Cell smaller than My Bra Closet…..
