noun:
1. A specialized and often secret vocabulary and idiom peculiar to a particular group.
2. A secret language or conventional slang peculiar to thieves, tramps, and vagabonds.
My child has an argot, but she claims all her made-up words are “Spanish,” such as “‘klingka’ is Spanish for chair.”

Ha! This must be some stage of language development?? For odd kids?? Or is this what happens with a little information (one Spanish class)? Well, they ARE creative….
