oh, the taking….
Can someone please explain this to me? Why are there people out there taking my posts and putting them on their own websites when they are totally unrelated to the “topic” of their website? Many either don’t include my name or use the wrong name. They usually have the right link to here, at least. Can you say copyright infringement? Do you think I should dust off my license and sue them? Maybe I’ll write some cease and desist letters?? I am okay with someone “indexing” interesting articles off the web (I AM interesting, can’t fight that) and including me in that, with proper credit and links (I’d prefer to be asked FIRST), but having your stuff just taken and copied and put on someone else’s site? What is this, the old west? Who are these people? People should be ASKING first. Just because you CAN cut and paste does NOT mean you SHOULD cut and paste. And wouldn’t it be funny if this one got put up, too? They don’t seem to review the subject matter at all……

I’ve heard of that… seems to be a common problem on the web. I really don’t understand the point… i’ve run across a couple, and like you said the content is so irrelevent and obviously pulled from random places, I can’t imagine that anyone actually reads it.
