bartending 101
My site is up and running!! I did a lot of stuff and am not sure which thing worked, but here it is. Did ya miss me? I missed you! Hurray! Time to celebrate. Think I’ll fix one of these again. See what I made this weekend — the black and tan — guinness stout with ale.
You may think it’s easy, but given this was our second glass, there is a trick to it. The dark beer floats over the lighter one, but not always and only if you pour it right in the first place. The lighter beer must be cold and poured first, then very very slowly pour the dark beer. There are even special spoons you can buy (don’t tell DH) to pour the dark beer over and into the glass smoothly. Yum!
After the website ordeal, I really need a tequila shooter, or 12….does anyone deliver?

Welcome back!
My mouth is watering. We had 70 degree weather here today and nothing sounds better than a black and tan right now. And I’ve only had one three times in my life.
Why didn’t I think of buying beer at the grocery store today?! So sad for me. If I weren’t in my jammies I’d head off for the local pub.

70??!? When it gets that warm, I start thinking of hard ciders, myself. Yes, that would be a sad picture, you in pj’s driving to the pub or the liquor store…..

[...] I must not be part of this group since I did not even know what it meant! Thank you word-of-the-day for making that clear! Perhaps I should go back to bartending 101…. [...]
