I&#8217;m told she brought one out and, in a move similar to actual hunting dog behavior (which shocked us all), set it down on the ground. Did not eat it, de-limb it or the shake the little mouse life out of it. Well, that one mouse ultimately did not make it, but DH went outside later, worried about other abandoned baby mice, and found another. [...]</description>

		<description>That explains the sluggish behavior!  That possibly also explains the sluggish behavior of the goldfinches I just saw again today.  Sitting casually on the perches at our feeder this morning, they seemed more interested in gazing around than gorging on seeds....</description>

		<description>The reason they didn&#039;t run was that they had just finished gorging themselves at your neighbors house on only the most expensive and tasty plants in the garden.  I still can&#039;t believe that Bay Hay and Feed sells deer food.  They have the whole thing reversed.  Venison with a port wine reduction sauce is a beautiful thing....</description>
