Remember “Silly rabbit, Trix is for kids”? It’s a little different from when I was a kid. Fluorescent colors, new shapes. Top 3 ingredients: corn, sugar and corn syrup. I am thinking of conducting a “super-size me” type experiment to see if it ever decays. What do you think? A half life of, oh, 25 years? Maybe we could use it for art projects….

  • I still have art projects from my 24 (soon to be 25) year old that include this stuff. I’m thinking that proves your 1/2-life theory…. And by the way, I had him when I was in grade school if anybody wants to know.

  • It doesn’t digest either, your system just extracts the sugar carbs, and well, you know what happens to the rest.

  • Ick! Ick! Ick! After my colonoscopy prep, all this really hits home!! This would have a very interesting effect compared to the green jello…..

So, Sheri, does the color fade or the pieces shrivel or anything? Are they frozen in this form forever? Gulp!

  • Yes they are frozen in this form, except for the damage the paste inflicts. I bet they like cockroaches could survive a nuclear blast.
